A New Beginning
Hello Friends,
Hope in the Darkness is a compilation of my thoughts and ideas as I struggle to navigate this world. I have a tendency to become overwhelmed by the sadness and darkness of this world, so this is a chance for me to find the hope and light along the way, as well as to share what I find with others.
I have started this blog to share stories of some of the amazing people I meet along my journey and create ways for you to also participate in their lives. I am currently working with Bheki Matsenjwa in Swaziland to create opportunities for orphaned children in Swaziland to continue their educations. I will be sharing some of their stories in these posts and I invite you to think of ways to become involved in these children's lives. This can be anything from holding them in your hearts, writing them letters of encouragement or helping them pay for their school fees.
As some of you know, my friend Stanley Mbowane from South Africa is coming to Canada at the end of the month for one month and I am leaving for Pune, India in January for three months. I will also use this blog to keep you updated on these adventures.
And so the journey begins...
